A two-week program, taught by a team of Stanford Ph.D.,  focusing on data analysis and its real-world application.  The project focused on criminal justice and used data to build and critique models that predict a defendant’s likelihood of reoffending.

Researched the development of large federal projects and their environmental and economic impacts. My other responsibility is to assist with regression statistics by using the programming language R.

Ran a homemade chocolate business that also collaborated with local nonprofits for silent auctions and fundraising events. Total revenue is > 2500 dollars, with the majority going toward nonprofits and more than 1,000 dollars in gift matching.

Bring your own board - Organizer and Camp Counselor

Organized a two-day camp event with the Ukrainian Grand Master and 2019 World Junior Champion Evgeny Shtembuliak for local kids and raised a total of 1,558 dollars for Ukrainian refugees via World Central Kitchen.
